Weather Update 3.25.21 - U.S.

A week after a multi-day severe weather outbreak, another severe event appears likely across the Southern U.S. through Thursday. A moderate risk of severe thunderstorms is in effect for Thursday across parts of the South, including the Memphis, Birmingham and Jackson, Mississippi metro areas. These thunderstorms will contain strong tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds. Active Advisories: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, Colorado.

  • 2-4 inches additional snow
  • Until 5 AM PDT early this morning
Oregon
Winter Weather Advisory
Snow continuing today above 4500ft in the Cascades
  • 3 inches additional snow
  • Until 11 AM PDT this morning
Idaho
Winter Weather Advisory
Snow continuing this morning above 3000ft across the panhandle
  • 2 inches additional snow
  • Until 8 AM PDT this morning
Nevada
Winter Weather Advisory
Snow occurring today across northeast NV
  • 4-9 inches of snow
  • Until 8 PM PDT Thursday
Montana
Winter Weather Advisory
Snow occurring today across western MT
  • 4-8 inches of snow
  • From 3 PM this afternoon to Noon MDT Friday
Colorado
Winter Weather Advisory
Snow expected this afternoon above 8000ft across southwest CO
  • 6-10 inches of snow
  • From 3 PM this afternoon to 6 PM MDT Friday
