A couple of systems will produce unsettled weather the next few days from the Four Corners region into portions of the Plains, Midwest and South. Severe thunderstorms are possible from the southern Plains into the Mid to Lower Mississippi Valley and South, heavy rain with possible flooding in the central Gulf Coast region, heavy snow in the southern Rockies and fire weather in New Mexico and Texas. Active Advisories: Nevada, Montana, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico

Snow continuing this morning across central and northeast NV
  • 1-5 inches of valley snow
  • 5-10 inches of mountain snow
  • Until  8 AM PDT today
Montana
Winter Weather Advisory
Areas of snow occurring this morning across western and central MT
  • 1 inch additional snow
  • Until 10 AM MDT this morning
Arizona
Winter Weather Advisory
Snow expected today above 6000ft across northern and eastern AZ
  • 1-5 inches of snow
  • Until 11 PM MST this evening
Colorado
Winter Weather Advisory
Snow expected this afternoon across the San Juan Mountains
  • 4-8 inches of snow
  • 35mph wind gusts
  • From noon today until 6 PM MDT Wednesday
New Mexico
Winter Storm Warning
Snow expected to begin this afternoon across northern and central NM
  • 3-8 inches below 7500ft
  • 6-12 inches above 7500ft, up to 18in
  • 35mph wind gusts
 
Additionally, Wind Advisories are in place across parts of California, Nevada, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Mississippi.
