Meanwhile, a strong system moving across southern Canada will trigger lake-effect snow downwind of the Great Lakes through early next week. New York
Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 AM EDT Tuesday morning
- Snow expected. Total 24 hour snow accumulations of 5 to 9 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
- Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening or Tuesday morning commute.
Tennessee
Flood Advisory remains in effect until 9 AM CDT Saturday morning
- Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
- Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Water over roadways is possible.
Oregon
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 9 AM PDT this morning
- Visibility one quarter mile or less in areas of dense fog.
- Impacts: Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility. Cyclists and pedestrians will be difficult to see.
