Summary: A series of storms will impact the Pacific Northwest through midweek with heavy low elevation rain that could cause flooding, heavy mountain snow, and high winds along the Rocky Mountain Front.

Oregon

High Wind Warning / Wind Advisory

High Wind Warning remains in effect until 4 PM PST this afternoon. Wind Advisory in effect now until 7 PM PST this evening.
  • High Wind Warning: South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.Strongest wind on exposed beaches and headlands. Impacts: Travel will be challenging, especially for high profile vehicles late tonight through Monday afternoon.
  • Wind Advisory:South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
 
Washington
High Wind Warning / Wind Advisory / Flood Warning / Winter Weather Advisory
High Wind Warning remains in effect until 4 PM PST this afternoon. Wind Advisory in effect 7 AM until 7 PM PST this evening. Flood Warning in effect this morning to tomorrow afternoon. Minor flooding is forecast. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM PST. 
  • High Wind Warning: South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. Strongest wind on exposed beaches and headlands. Impacts: Travel will be challenging, especially for high profile vehicles late tonight through Monday afternoon.
  • Wind Advisory: South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected
  • Winter Weather Advisory: Mixed precipitation. Additional snow accumulations between
    8 and 15 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze. Heavy wet snow will increase this evening into the overnight. Local patches of freezing rain are possible Monday morning.
 
Idaho
Winter Weather Advisory
Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon PST today. Very cold wind chills expected. 
  • Snow expected. From 4 AM to noon, up to an additional 2 inches of snow below 3000 feet.
  • Additional mountain snow accumulations between 5 to 10 inches today.
 
Montana
High Wind Warning / Winter Weather Advisory
High Wind Warning remains in effect until noon MST Tuesday. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 AM MST this morning. 
  • Winds 35 to 40 mph with gusts up to 70 mph. Strong crosswinds will make travel difficult along interstate 90.
  • Mixed precipitation. Snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze.
 
New York
Wind Chill Advisory
Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM EST this morning.
  • Very cold wind chills. Wind chills as low as 15 below zero.
 
Maine & Northern New Hampshire
Wind Chill Advisory
Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM EST this morning.
  • Very cold wind chills. Wind chills as low as 20 below zero.

 

Additional Flood Advisories scatter central and eastern US, including but not limited to: Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Illouinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, and Missouri.
