Summary:
A Pacific storm system continue to bring locally heavy rain near the coast, and heavy high elevation snowfall into the Intermountain West and Northern Rockies. A quick moving front is expected to spread a round of accumulating snowfall across the Great Lakes and into New England Thursday night and Friday morning. Impacted Lanes: I-80, I-90, I-82, I-84, I-5, I-15, I-86, I-94, I-69, I-196, I-75


Wyoming
Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11 AM MST Friday morning

  • Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 14 inches, with the highest amounts near Moose in the Jackson Valley and Alpine in the Star Valley.
  • Impacts: Travel will be very difficult. The hazardous conditions will impact the morning or evening commute.

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 AM MST Friday morning

  • Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
  • Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions will impact the morning or evening commute.

Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 8 AM MST this morning

  • Visibility less than one mile in dense fog.
  • Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

High Wind Warning remains in effect until 5 PM MST this afternoon

  • Southwest winds 30 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.
  • Impacts: Mainly to transportation. Strong cross winds will be hazardous to light weight or high profile vehicles, including campers and tractor trailers.

Colorado
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM MST this morning

  • Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
  • Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 AM MST Saturday morning

  • Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
  • Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. Blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.

Ohio
Wind Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM EST this evening

  • South winds becoming west winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
  • Impacts: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Georgia
Flood Warning remains in effect until 9 PM EST Monday evening. 

  • Moderate flooding is occurring. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall.
  • Impacts: Water over roadways.
