Weather Update 12.15.20

A potent system, Winter Storm Gail, is passing through the Intermountain West today and will eject out into the south-central Plains for Tuesday. This system will then progress into the East on Wednesday and a surface low is expected to develop and rapidly intensify along the Mid-Atlantic coastline. This potential Nor'easter would result in a number of impacts from extremely heavy snow, icing and gusty winds. Significant transportation impacts are expected throughout the Mid Atlantic, including the I-95 corridor.
