Near-record to record-breaking warm temperatures are expected from the Southern Plains to the Central/Southern Appalachians. Gusty Santa Ana winds and low humidity will bring locally critical fire conditions to portions of southern California. - Northwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
- Impacts: Objects left unsecured outside will be blown around. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
