Areas of rain and snow will continue over the Pacific Northwest and Northeast U.S. into early Wednesday. Mainly dry weather is expected elsewhere with fire weather concerns across southern California. Temperatures for much of the country will gradually warm by Wednesday, with some record highs possible over the West and Plains. Active Advisories: Pennsylvania, West Virginia, New York, Vermont, Maine

  • Additional 1 inch accumulation
  • Until 10 AM EST this morning
West Virginia

Snowy and windy conditions occurring in the Allegheny mountains this morning
  • 2-3 inch additional accumulation
  • 50mph wind gusts
  • Until 10 AM EST this morning
New York
Winter Weather Advisory
Ontario lake effect snow and gusty winds expected in east central NY today
  • 7-12 inches of snow
  • 45mph wind gusts
  • From 4 PM this afternoon to 4 AM EST Tuesday
Vermont
Winter Weather Advisory
Snowy conditions expected across northern VT beginning this afternoon
  • 2-6 inches of snow
  • 8 inches possible above 2000ft
  • 45mph wind gusts
  • Until 7 AM EST Tuesday
Maine
Winter Weather Advisory
Wintry conditions expected over northern ME today
  • 1-3 inches of snow
  • 40mph wind gusts
  • From 7 AM to 7 PM EST Monday
