Unsettled weather will persist through today in the Pacific Northwest and Northern Rockies. Mixed precipitation is expected in the Northern Plains, and blustery conditions in the southern and central Plains into the Ohio Valley. Above normal temperatures will spread west to east across the contiguous U.S. this week. Active Advisories: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota

Snow continuing in the southern Cascades above 3500ft
  • 2-6 inches additional snow
  • Until 3 PM PST this afternoon
Oregon
Winter Weather Advisory
Snow continuing in the Cascades above 4500ft
  • 4-7 inches additional snow
  • 35mph wind gusts
  • Until 10 AM PST Thursday
Idaho
Winter Weather Advisory
Snowy conditions above 4000ft continuing this morning across the panhandle
  • 2-7 inches of snow
  • Until 11 AM MST /10 AM PST/ this morning
Impacting transit including along I-90 through Lookout Pass
 
Montana
Winter Weather Advisory
Mixed precipitation occurring this morning across northeast MT
  • 1 inch of snow
  • Light glaze of ice
  • Dense fog
  • Until noon MST today
North Dakota
Winter Weather Advisory
Mixed precipitation occurring today across the northern half of the state
  • .05 inch of ice accumulation
  • Up to 1 inch of snow
  • From 6 AM CST /5 AM MST/ this morning to 6 PM CST /5 PM/MST/ this evening
Minnesota
Winter Weather Advisory
Mixed precipitation expected today across northwest MN
  • 1 inch of snow
  • Light glaze of ice
