Summary: A strong and powerful cold front will press eastward and drop southward through the Central U.S. on Wednesday. A few hazards are expected across the region, including high wind warnings persisting across the Dakotas with gusts up to 60 to 70 mph, elevated fire weather concerns in the central and southern Plains, and a few showers that may develop from the Great Lakes to the Mid Mississippi Valley. Winter Advisories: New Hampshire, Maine

  • 1/10th inch of ice
  • From 6 PM this evening to 5 AM EST Thursday

Mixed Precipitation expected to begin this evening across the northern half of the state
  • 2 inches of snow
  • 1/10th inch of ice
  • From 8 PM this evening to 6 AM EST Thursday
Wind Advisories are in place across parts of Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana
