Weather Update 11.17.20 - U.S.

Unsettled weather will continue across the Pacific Northwest and into the northern Rockies this week as several fronts sweep gusty to high winds, heavy low elevation rain and mountain snow through the region. Above normal temperatures will spread east across the contiguous U.S. this week from west to east. Temperatures 15 degrees above normal are likely over the Central states. Winter Storm Warning
Heavy snow above 6500ft is expected to begin today over the Sierra Nevada and Cascades
  • 1-2 feet of snow, up to 3
  • 40mph wind gusts
  • 10 AM today to 6 PM Wednesday
Mountain pass travel is expected to become difficult including through I-80 and I-5
