Summary:
Isolated thunderstorms and locally heavy rain are expected from southern Texas into the ArkLaTex region through the morning, and into the weekend for southern Texas. A series of Pacific storms will bring rain and high elevation snow to the Northwest into the weekend. The Critical risk of wildfires over parts of Southern California is expected to diminish overnight. Impacted Lanes: I-5, I-90, I-15, I-10, I-65, I-75, I-69, I-45, I-49, I-20, I-55, I-40, I-22, I-24, I-81, I-77, I-68, I-66, I-70, I-76, I-80, I-95


Washington
Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 PM PST Saturday evening

  • Heavy snow expected. Heaviest snow accumulations will be above 4500 feet. Total snow accumulations between 10 and 25 inches. Washington Pass will see between 18 and 24 inches of snow. Winds will gust as high as 45 mph.

Wind Advisory remains in effect until 10 PM PST Saturday evening

  • Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
  • Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Freezing Fog Advisory remains in effect until 12 PM PST today

  • Visibility one quarter of a mile or less at times in freezing fog.
  • Impacts: Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility and potential frost on bridges. Freezing fog will cause slick roadways and sidewalks. There may be very light snow at times this morning falling out from the fog layer.

Flood Watch remains in effect until 11 AM PST Sunday morning

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
  • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Montana
High Wind Warning remains in effect until 5 AM MST Sunday morning

  • Southwest winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 80 mph expected.
  • Impacts: High winds may move loose debris, damage property and cause isolated power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Florida
Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 9:30 AM EST this morning

  • Visibility one quarter to one half mile in dense fog.
  • Impacts: Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
