Nicole is expected to produce a variety of hazards across Florida into the Southeast through Thursday including, a dangerous storm surge, hurricane and tropical storm conditions, heavy rain with flooding and severe storms with tornadoes. Meanwhile, a powerful storm system will deliver a taste of winter to the Upper Midwest with snow, ice, blizzard conditions, high winds, rain and severe storms. Oregon
Freezing Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 AM PST this morning
- Visibility as low as a quarter of a mile and slick surfaces due to freezing fog.
- Impacts: Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility and slick road surfaces.
South Dakota
Blizzard Warning remains in effect until 12 AM CST tonight
- Blizzard conditions. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 9 inches and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
- Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
Ice Storm Warning remains in effect until 9 AM CST this morning
- For the Ice Storm Warning, significant icing. Additional snow accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of up to one half of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
- Impacts: Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

Storm Surge & Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect until Friday evening
- Wind: 45-60 mph with gusts to 80 mph

- Storm Surge: The potential for 3-5 feet above ground somewhere within surge prone areas
