Summary:
A stubborn area of low pressure will keep conditions inclement for parts of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast with rain showers and gusty winds through Wednesday. Meanwhile, locally heavy to excessive rain is possible across the Four Corners region over the next couple of days. Impacted Lanes: SR-64, SR-544, SR-37, SR-776, SR-46


New Jersey
Coastal Flood Warning remains in effect until 9 PM EDT this evening

  • One to two feet of inundation above ground level in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.
  • Impacts: At this level, widespread roadway flooding occurs in coastal and bayside communities and along inland tidal waterways. Many roads become impassable. Some damage to vulnerable structures may begin to occur.

Florida
Expect delays in freight for carriers in Florida due to damage from Hurricane Ian. Limited to no service is expected for some. Impacted Lanes: SR-64, SR-544, SR-37, SR-776, SR-46 are affected in certain areas due to flooding.
