Summary:
A line of strong to severe thunderstorms with locally heavy rain associated with a strong weather system will move across Texas. In the Pacific Northwest, a weather system will produce rain with higher elevation snow. In Alaska, a strong system in southern Alaska will produce high winds and areas of heavy rain and snow.

Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM EDT this afternoon
- Up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.
- Impacts: At this level, flooding begins on the most vulnerable roads in coastal and bayside communities, and along inland tidal waterways. Some partial or full road closures are possible.
