Summary: A storm will move across the Intermountain West and Rockies through Tuesday. Heavy snow is forecast for the higher terrain with rain for lower elevations. Meanwhile, large area of high pressure for the East will keep the weather tranquil with moderating temperatures. Later this week, a more significant storm is possible for the West, especially for northern California. Advisories: Utah, Wyoming, Colorado

Winter Weather Advisory
Snow continuing this morning across northeast UT
  • 6-12 inches of snow
  • Until noon MDT Tuesday
Impacting transit along I-80 from Parley's Canyon to the WY border, I-84 from Morgan to 80 Junction, and I-70 through Salina Summit 
 
Wyoming
Winter Storm Warning
Heavy snow expected today across portions of central and southeast WY
  • 5-10 inches of snow
  • 35mph wind gusts
  • From 6 AM Tuesday to 6 AM MDT Wednesday
Expected to impact transit along I-25
 
Colorado
Winter Weather Advisory
Moderate to heavy snow expected today above 9000ft across northwest CO
  • 4-8 inches of snow
  • 35mph wind gusts
  • Through midnight MDT tonight
Impacting transit along I-80 west of Denver
