Summary: Low pressure will progress inland across the west overnight with some valley rain and higher terrain snow as this system tracks across the Intermountain West on Monday. East of the Rocky Mountains, high pressure will keep the weather pattern tranquil with moderating temperatures expected for the center of the nation. Advisories: Oregon, California, Utah, Wyoming

  • 1-4 inches of snow
  • 35mph wind gusts
  • Until 9 AM PDT today
California
Winter Weather Advisory
Snow above 5000ft expected to continue this morning across the northern Sierra Nevada
  • 3-8 inches of snow
    • 12 inches locally
  • Until 5am PDT today
Impacting transit along I-80 through the mountains
 
Utah
Winter Weather Advisory
Snow above 5,000ft expected to begin this afternoon across northeast UT
  • 6-12 inches of snow
  • From 3 PM this afternoon to noon MDT Tuesday
Will likely impact transit along I-80 east of Salt Lake City
 
Wyoming
Winter Storm Warning
Heavy snow expected tomorrow across central WY
  • 12-18 inches of snow
  • From 1 AM to 6 PM MDT Tuesday
Winter Storm Watch
Heavy snow possible beginning late tonight across central WY 
  • 4-6 inches of snow
  • From late tonight through Tuesday evening
May impact transit along I-25 and I-90
