Low pressure will sweep from the Northern Rockies into the Northern Plains this weekend, bringing the first accumulating snowfall of the season to many areas. While cool weather will prevail in the East, parts of California and the Southwest will be unusually warm. Active Advisories: Montana, North Dakota

Montana
Winter Weather Advisory 
Snow expected this evening through tomorrow over portions of central and north central MT
  • 1-6 inches accumulating
  • 35mph wind gusts
  • From 9pm MDT tonight to 6pm MDT tomorrow
Could impact transit along I-90 from Missoula to Bearmouth.
 
North Dakota
Winter Weather Advisory
Snow expected this evening through tomorrow in northwest and north central ND
  • 3-5 inches, locally 6+, accumulating
  • From 6pm CDT tonight to 1pm CDT tomorrow
Slippery road conditions may slow transit locally.
 
Additionally, Freeze Warnings, Freeze Watches, and Frost Advisories are in effect for parts of Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, New York, and Pennsylvania.
