A cold front will bring much cooler temperatures from the Midwest into parts of the Eastern U.S. Freeze Warnings, Advisories, and Watches have been issued over parts of the Northern and Central Plains. Impacted Lanes: I-10, I-95, I-40, I-26, I-77
Florida
Flood Warning remains in effect until 9 AM EDT Tuesday morning
- Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
- Impacts: Elevated water levels continue for many rivers across the area due to heavy rainfall associated with Hurricane Milton. Water may over some roads.
Coastal Flood Warning remains in effect until 8 PM EDT this evening
- Significant coastal flooding.
- Impacts: Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property including some critical infrastructure will be inundated.
Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 8 PM EDT this evening
- Minor coastal flooding.
- Impacts: Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected.
North Carolina
Wind Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM EDT this evening
- Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
- Impacts: Gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects. Winds of this magnitude may cause more trees to fall than normal due to wind damage and weakened slopes sustained during the passage of Tropical Storm Helene last month. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
