Weather Update 10.14.21 - U.S.

Posted by Jarrett on Oct 14, 2021 7:31:30 AM

Summary: While transit is still being impacted in some areas affected by the winter storm early this week, previously closed highways across Wyoming, Colorado and South Dakota are now reopened and operational, though below average temperatures are likely to remain from the North/Central High Plains, westward to the Great Basin. Heavy rainfall from the remnants Tropical Cyclone Pamela could produce areas of flash, urban, and small stream flooding across portions of Texas and into the Ozarks today. Meanwhile, much above average temperatures will persist across the eastern third of the country through the end of the week.
