Summary:
Locally heavy to excessive rainfall is possible today across the Southwestern U.S. from southern California to western Texas. Meanwhile, a cold front may trigger strong to severe thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday from portions of the Plains and Mississippi Valley into the Ohio and Tennessee Valleys.

Flood Advisory remains in effect until Tuesday morning

  • Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible
  • Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations such as low-lying roadways. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage, urban areas and low-lying roadways.
