Locally heavy rain may bring a threat of flash, urban, and small stream flooding across the lower Mississippi Valley Thursday and Friday. A clipper crossing southern Canada will bring lake effect snow to the Great Lakes and light snow to the Northeast Thursday into Saturday morning. Active Advisories: Idaho, Montana, New York

  • 4-8 inches of snow across north central NY
