Weather Update 1.14.21 - U.S.

Damaging high winds will continue across a broad swath of the Plains as Winter Storm Malcolm shifts into the Upper Mississippi Valley. Heavy snow will develop across the Upper Midwest, and a wintry mix will spread across the North and Central Plains to the Ohio and Tennessee Valleys. High avalanche hazard across the panhandle and central ID

ID 21 is currently closed from Grandjean to Banner Summit due to avalanche risk.

Expected to severely impact transit along I-90 from the MN border to Chamberlain, and the I-29 corridor
