Weather Update 1.13.21 - U.S.

Posted by Jarrett on Jan 13, 2021 8:10:23 AM

The heavy rain and high elevation snow will subside over the Pacific Northwest, however the potential for river flooding and landslides remain. The precipitation will move into the Northern Rockies, in addition to strong winds that may impact that region into the Northern and Central Plains into Friday. Expect hazardous travel, possible power outages, and property damage. As this weather event moves eastward across the US, there is an increasing signal for a late week winter weather event as the area of low pressure deepens and stalls itself out over the Upper Midwest. Active Advisories: Idaho, New York
