An atmospheric river event will impact the western portions of the Pacific Northwest over the next couple of days bringing heavy, persistent rain and heavy mountain snow. Flooding, flash flooding, landslides, and debris flows are possible. A high wind event will spread across the Northern Rockies into the Northern Plains through Thursday. Active Advisories: Washington, Idaho, Montana, Michigan

Heavy wet snow continuing today above 3000ft in the Cascades
  • 10 inches additional snow
  • Until 4 PM PST this afternoon
Impacting transit along I-90 including through Snoqualmie Pass
 
Idaho
Winter Storm Warning
Heavy wet snow continuing today across west central ID
  • 7-12 inches additional moutnain snow
  • 3-7 inches additional snow below 4000ft
  • From 5 AM early this morning to 11 PM MST this evening
Montana
Winter Weather Advisory
Mixed precipitation continuing today across western MT
  • 3-6 inches of additional snow
  • Light glaze of ice
  • From 2 AM to 2 PM MST Tuesday
Impacting transit along I-90 from Lookout Pass to Haugan
 
Michigan
Winter Weather Advisory
Freezing drizzle expected this morning across the state
  • Glazing accumulation
  • Through noon EST today
