Gary Thomas is a seasoned Criminal Intelligence Analyst at CargoNet, bringing a wealth of experience from his 24-year tenure with the Kentucky State Police. Specializing in auto and cargo theft for 14 years, Gary has played a pivotal role in numerous complex criminal investigations, leading to successful prosecutions in both state and federal courts. In recognition of his outstanding service, he was honored as the 2023 Civilian of the Year before retiring in 2024.
Gary is an active member of the law enforcement committee for the Transported Asset Protection Association and is a sought-after speaker on cargo theft, having delivered multiple presentations at industry events nationwide.

Matt Wagner has more than two decades of expertise in business development and sales management, specializing in supply chain management solutions. As Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Jarrett, he is responsible for developing the sales and marketing strategy and execution to drive new business growth and brand awareness.
In 2007, he began his logistics career with Jarrett as a Manager of Business Development. Following this, he honed his skills further during a six-year tenure as Client Solutions Director at Transportation Insight, before ultimately returning to Jarrett in 2016 as Vice President, Sales & Marketing and was promoted in November 2022 to his current position.
Matt earned his certification as a LEAN Green Belt through Total Insight in November 2012, further solidifying his proficiency in driving operational excellence. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Ashland University.

Prior to his role at NMFTA, Peterson started his career as a driver for TWT Refrigerated Transport, then worked in operations for System Transport and Interstate Distributor Co., all asset-based carriers. He then served in numerous strategic operations positions at Qualcomm and Omnitracs, and most recently held the position of Senior Director of Professional Services at Solera, Inc.
