Supply Chain Summit 2025

Setting the Tone

The 2025 Jarrett Supply Chain Summit began in unforgettable fashion with a VIP dinner at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, featuring a keynote from NFL legend and Ohio State Buckeye, Cris Carter. His message of determination, dedication and passion underscored the power of perseverance both on and off the field.

Highlights from the Summit

The following day, a record crowd of supply chain leaders and logistics professionals gathered in North Canton, Ohio, for a full day of innovation, collaboration and forward-thinking strategy. Sessions covered some of the most pressing topics in the industry, including tariffs, artificial intelligence, cargo theft and freight fraud, building winning company cultures, shipper scorecards and more. Attendees left equipped with actionable strategies and valuable new connections to strengthen their supply chains in the year ahead.

AI was a central theme of the summit. Zack Kass—advisor, futurist, and former head of go-to-market at OpenAI—delivered a compelling keynote, “The Renaissance,” exploring how artificial intelligence is transforming transportation and offering practical advice for adopting AI today and in the future. JP Wiggins of OneLogTech expanded on the topic with a firsthand look at AI integration into supply chain applications, including how to simplify the process.

Tariffs were also in focus, with Rennie Alston, CEO of the Alston Group and American River Group of Companies, delivering timely insights on recent changes and their far-reaching impact across the supply chain.

Breakout sessions throughout the day covered a range of timely topics, including:

  • Cargo theft and freight fraud prevention
  • NMFC classification updates
  • Lean methodologies beyond manufacturing
  • Supply chain finance strategies
  • Mode selection best practices
  • And more

Industry executives representing every mode of transportation—from parcel and LTL to TL, international and beyond—shared key takeaways on current carrier trends and what lies ahead, sparking meaningful discussions and actionable ideas.

Community Impact

Following the day’s sessions, Jarrett hosted its annual Hearts for Heartland benefit, supporting Heartland Education Community—a nonprofit dedicated to shifting the focus from school to education and the responsibility from school to community.

Thanks to the generosity of attendees, sponsors, and community partners, the event raised meaningful financial support for Heartland’s ongoing work. The evening concluded with a special performance by Grammy-nominated country artist Hunter Hayes.

Looking Ahead

Building on this year’s momentum, the fourth Jarrett Supply Chain Summit is scheduled for Aug. 6, 2026. The summit will continue to serve as a key platform for innovation, collaboration and forward-looking discussions within the supply chain community. Additional details will be announced throughout the year.
