Summary:

Travel conditions will be challenging across the northern Plains, Great Lakes and east coast through Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Heavy snow, blizzard conditions, for the upper Midwest and Great Lakes region through Thanksgiving to be followed by another strong storm for the Plains, Great Lakes and Northeast this weekend. Strong winds are expected with these systems adding to travel difficulties
 
 

Idaho

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 AM. 

  • Total snow accumulations 1 to 3 inches, with isolated amounts near 6 to 12 inches. 

Montana

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 AM. 

  • Total snow accumulations 1 to 3 inches, with isolated amounts near 6 to 12 inches. 
 
 

Nebraska

High Wind Advisory remains in effect through this evening.

  • Winds between 30-40 mph with gusts as high as 60 mph

Minnesota

Blizzard Warning remains in effect through Midnight in the north.

  • 4 to 12 inches of snow
  • Winds gusting as high as 45 mph

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect through this morning.

  • Light snow this morning
  • Winds as high as 45 mph

Wisconsin

Blizzard Warning remains in effect through Thursday morning.

  • 13 to 20 inches of snow, with 20-30 inches in some areas
  • Winds gusting as high as 45 mph

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect through tomorrow morning

  • Snow accumulation of 8 to 15 inches
  • Winds as high as 30-40 mph

Michigan

Winter Storm Warning remains in effect through this morning

  • Snow accumulation of 3 to 8 inches
  • Winds gusting up to 55 mph

Additional Dense Fog Advisory included but not limited to :   California, Washington, Montana, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. 

Additional Winter Storm Watch included but not limited to : Ohio Pennsylvania, Montana, and New York.

Additional Wind Advisory included but not limited to : Iowa Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
