U.S. Weather Update 11.21.25

Summary:

Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms and widespread heavy rainfall are possible across the southern Plains into Arkansas. Widespread showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms are possible across southern California. Urban flooding, rock and mudslides as well as minor debris flows near burn scars are possible.
 
 

California

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM Friday.

  • Snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches in central and southern Sierra Nevada. 
  • Wind gusts as high as 30 to 45mph. 
 Flood Watch remains in effect through this evening. 
  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
  • Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and low-lying and flood-prone locations. 

Arizona

Flood Watch remains in effect until this afternoon. 

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
  • Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Texas

Flood Warning remains in effect through Saturday evening.

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. 
  • Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, and streams.

 

Additional Dense Fog Advisory included but not limited to :  Oregon, California, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, Kentucky, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.
