U.S. Weather Update 11.10.25

Summary:

A frigid cold airmass will bring significantly colder weather across the eastern two thirds of the country early this week. Record low temperatures are expected in the Southeast by Tuesday morning. Moderate to heavy lake effect snow will continue downwind of the Great Lakes through Monday. Several inches of snow accumulation is expected.
 

Texas

Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through this afternoon.

  • Flash flooding caused by a potential dam or levee failure continues to be possible at the Carter Lake Dam.  
  • Dam failure may result in flash flooding of low-lying areas below the dam.  

Pennsylvania 

Lake effect snow remains in effect until 1 PM Tuesday.

  • Heavy lake effect snow, accumulations from 4 - 11 inches expected.   
  • The heaviest snowfall is expected to occur late Monday night into Tuesday morning.  
 New York

Lake effect snow remains in effect until 1 PM Tuesday.

  • Heavy lake effect snow, accumulations from 4 - 11 inches expected.   
  • The heaviest snowfall is expected to occur late Monday night into Tuesday morning.  
 

Additional Freeze Warning  included but not limited to : South Carolina, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida.

Additional Dense Fog Advisory included but not limited to : California and Oregon.

Additional  Flood Warning included but not limited to:  Florida. 

Additional Wind Advisory included but not limited to:  Montana, and Wyoming.

Additional Winter Weather Advisory included but not limited to: Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, New York, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Maine.
