U.S. Weather Update 10.27.25

Summary:

Showers and thunderstorms pose a risk for a couple of tornadoes, occasional damaging gusts, and some scattered flash flooding along the central Gulf Coast. A Pacific storm system continues to bring gusty winds, lower elevation rain, and hazardous mountain snow to the northwestern U.S.

Washington

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 PM Monday.

  • Snow accumulations up to 4 inches  
  • The heaviest snow will occur during the next few hours over the Cascades of King and Snohomish Counties.  

Oragon

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 PM Monday.

  • Snow accumulations up to 2 - 3 inches  
  • The heaviest snow will occur during the next few hours on the East slopes of the Oregon Cascades.

Idaho

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 12 PM Monday.

  • Snow accumulations up to 4 inches  
  • The heaviest snow will occur during the next few hours.

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM Monday.

  • Additional snow accumulations between 6 and 12 inches and wind gusting as high as 45 mph. 

Montana

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 12 PM Monday.

  • Snow accumulations up to 4 inches  
  • The heaviest snow will occur during the next few hours.

Wyoming

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from Monday until 7 PM Tuesday .

  • Snow accumulations from 6 to 10 inches.
  • Higher amounts possible in the highest peaks.  

High Wind Warning remains in effect from Monday until 6 PM.

  • Gusts of 65 mph possible along I-25.

Florida

Tornado Warning remains in effect through 10AM today.

  • Severe thunderstorms capable of producing tornados expected this morning. 

Flood Watch remains in effect through this evening.

  • Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. 
  • Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low lying and flood prone locations. 

 

Additional Dense Fog Advisory included but not limited to : Oregon, New Mexico, Texas.

Additional Wind Advisory included but not limited to : California, Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, Wisconsin. 

Additional Coastal Flood Warning included but not limited to : North Carolina
