Our employees are the foundation of our award-winning workplace culture and excellent customer service. We are proud to have these people as a part of our Jarrett team.

We'd like to introduce you to Nick Bendo, Carrier Coordinator here at Jarrett. Read his answers to the questions below to find out more about Nick!

How long have you been at Jarrett?

I started at Jarrett in March of 2019!

What is the best part of working in your department?

The best part of working in the Truckload Department is the teamwork. When you walk in the room its like watching a well-oiled machine run, we all have a common goal and our specific tasks to complete to keep that machine running!

If you weren’t in Truckload, what job would you have?

I think I would be in the Marketing department, I think it is very interesting analyzing the impact of social media on the company’s business.

Favorite memory at Jarrett so far?

One of my favorite memories was the corn hole competition we had during my internship, it was a fun way to spend lunch breaks in the summer.

Who has been a mentor for you here at Jarrett? How have they helped you?

I have learned so much from everyone on the Jarrett team! Most notably Eric Suboticki, one of our brokers, has been a great mentor to me. He had my position previously and worked with me to answer all my questions as I adjusted into the new role.

What would you name the autobiography of your life?

“Nick, not Noah” (I have an identical twin named Noah).

What is one skill you wish you had?

Juggling, never been able to get it down and everyone makes it look so easy.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

I’d like to learn how to play the piano, I took a class on it during high school and really enjoyed it.

What chore do you wish would do itself?

Dishes, I love cooking but it is always a pain cleaning up the mess afterwards.

What fictional character would you be?

Obi-Wan Kenobi, I’ve always wanted a lightsaber!

We are grateful to have Nick here at Jarrett. If you are interested in being a part of our team, visit our careers page.
