Describe your job in 20 words or less?

Operations focused team leader, dedicated to providing top notch customer service while             implementing cost saving, supply chain solutions.

Favorite memory at Jarrett so far?

I have many favorite memories, one that sticks out is my first CRM trip to St. Louis.  It was my        first business trip and first time flying, I learned a lot about myself and the co-workers I traveled          with.

What is your favorite quote?

“Don’t let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning.” Robert Kiyosaki

What is your biggest goal right now?

My biggest goal is to complete all of the home renovations I have going on right now.

Why did you decide to join and stay with Jarrett?

I joined Jarrett right after graduating from college, one of my former co-workers referred me. I’ve stayed because I really enjoy the industry, have met a lot of great people, and have had a lot  of opportunity to grow with the company.

Which employee perk does Jarrett offer that you enjoy the most? Why?

I really enjoy getting to travel to meet our customers and see their facilities first hand.  It’s           helpful not only for relationship building, but also to see the product they are shipping and get a       feel for where they are located.

Who has been a mentor for you here at Jarrett? How have they helped you?

The entire management team at Jarrett Logistics has been a mentor to me at some point.  In       one way or another, they have all helped me grow professionally and given me the confidence to      excel.

What advice would you give to recent new hires?

To learn as much as they can, try new things, and to step out of their comfort zone.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned in your time at Jarrett?

Communication is key, in our industry there are a lot of factors that we cannot control and            having good communication makes all the difference.

How have you seen the organization and/or industry change over the course of time that you’ve been at Jarrett?

With both our organization and the transportation industry, I’ve seen an emphasis put on              technology.  Amazon and the growth of e-commerce have also had a huge impact on the         transportation industry as a whole.

How does your team provide value to Jarrett clients?

We provide value by being an extension of their business.  We focus on everything          transportation related, so that our customers can focus on what they do best.  With our Routing        Center, we have the ability to manage much more than just freight costs.  We also get to know          our customers to be able to anticipate future needs.

How has technology evolved in your time at Jarrett?

Technology is now a part of everything we do.  We use our own internal tools and system daily, but also have implemented business intelligence software that helps us to better predict trends             for our customers.  By giving our customers access to this same software, they have the           information at their fingertips to be able to make decisions to better their supply chain.

How does Jarrett and their employees serve the community?

At Jarrett, we have the opportunity to give back to our community through activities like Jean’s Day charity donations or holiday family sponsorship.  Many Jarrett employees give back on their            own time as well, through activities like helping with Habitat for Humanity or serving a holiday        meal at the local Salvation Army.

How would you define Jarrett’s success?

Our success can be seen through our customer retention, growth and experience in the 3PL          industry.

How has the client experience changed?

Our clients have real-time access to large amounts of data that can help them to make the best decisions for their business.  With the use of technology and new tools, we can also provide more       customized solutions based on exactly what our clients want.

What do you envision Jarrett looking like in the next 20 years?

Over the next 20 years, I envision continued growth into new and different markets.  It’s hard to          imagine what transportation will be like in the next 20 years, but based on what I’ve seen in the last 8 years, I expect continued change.

What lessons have you learned in the past 20 years that will impact the next 20?

I’ve learned that time is the most valuable thing in life, and that it should be spent wisely

What advice would you give your 20-year-old self?

I would tell my younger self to be more confident, take more risks and to go with the flow

What was your favorite song when you were 20?

Don’t Stop Believing, by Journey

What job did you have when you were 20?

I was a full-time student, part-time waitress, and cleaned an office building every evening.
